Dada has a new home in Zurich
New Dada showroom in Zurich. The 17th October will see the inauguration of the first single-brand store in Switzerland’s leading city. Dada has found a home in Niederdorf, in the heart of Zurich, where people come to stroll and shop along the narrow lanes and pedestrian streets. It is a district that never sleeps, with its bars and restaurants keeping the atmosphere lively till late. Here Dada is on show with two large showroom windows in an intimate and sophisticated space with warm, refined tones. The space is characterized by its division into two functional areas, separated by a simple glass wall: the collection in the window and the designing area inside. Two products are being presented for the first time in Zurich: Hi-Line 6 in a white matt lacquered island configuration, and Trim, still white but glossy lacquered, with technical columns in black oak. The ideal solution to complete the Dada kitchen systems is the Graduate bookcase, designed by Jean Nouvel for Molteni&C. A virtuoso suspended structure resolved in a single shelf anchored to the wall. Slender steel braces support adjustable shelves that seem to float in the air thanks to invisible support mechanisms.
