The Molteni Group has given its Molteni&C|Dada Flagship Store in Madrid a complete make-over, thereby consolidating its over ten-year partnership with Concepto DR, leading designers of prestigious home furnishings and a benchmark for design in Madrid.
Diego Rodríguez, interior designer for Studio Concepto DR, presents the new 2018 Molteni&C|Dada collections along with designer Francesco Meda.
The Molteni&C|Dada space, located in central via Castelló, has been completely renewed to accurately reflect the brands’ philosophy and values.
Featuring generous spaces and high ceilings, the new Flagship Store is conceived as a large loft, reached via a gracious entrance hall.
It is inspired by the spacious interiors of a large home, where the living areas lead into the dining areas, which, in turn, overlook a high impact VVD kitchen. The spaces then develop further into the night-time area, featuring the Gliss Master collection, with different finishes and compositions.
Natural and sophisticated materials, such as glass, oxidised wood and raw metal, in varying shades of light and dark sand and warm greys, alternate with luminous touches.
Protagonists of the Flagship Store are two of the new designs presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan: the Woody chair by Francesco Meda and the D.859.1 table designed by Gio Ponti.
