The Molteni&C Dada Flagship Store on Brompton Road presented an exclusive evening to celebrate Gio Ponti and Italian design.
Hatta Byng, editor of House and Garden, and Brian Kish, art and design historian, entertained guests with a talk on Gio Ponti, continuing the celebration of the 130th anniversary of Gio Ponti's birth that began on 18 November.
The focus of the discussion was Gio Ponti's valuable contribution to world architecture and its prolific work.
Works and a legacy that Molteni continues to bring back to life and promote with the Gio Ponti Heritage Collection, and also through new partners such as Taschen.
The collaboration with the art publisher has recently resulted in the Taschen Gio Ponti monograph, partly curated by Brian Kish, and its special limited edition Gio Ponti. Art Edition. which includes a re-edition of the Planchart table produced by Molteni&C.
Both the books and the table were on display, giving guests the opportunity to see them in person.
