The Molteni Group opens the doors of its first Molteni&C|Dada Flagship Store in South Africa, in cooperation with MC & D Design House, as evidence of the Group’s continued expansion in the world of contemporary design.

Located in the most-visited destination in Africa, Molteni&C|Dada has opened its first South African Flagship Store at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Situated in the impressive Waterway House in the Canal District, the 375 mq Store, with its two entrances and full-height windows, offers a spectacular Molteni&C|Dada experience.
Combining natural light and the brilliance of LED, with travertine tiled floors and the warm tones of textured walls and metallic paints, the space accentuates the luxurious quality of the kitchens, bookshelves, wardrobes, sofas and furniture collections.

On entering the showroom from the north side, visitors are greeted by a large multifunctional space, where the Ratio kitchen, the Marteen sofa and the Hector bookcase, designed by the creative director Vincent Van Duysen, are in perfect harmony with Michael Anastassiades’ Half a Square table and Dante Bonuccelli’s Password system.

The journey through a world of materials culminates in a generous space featuring large glass doors leading to the Canal on the south side. Here the creative director’s proposals come together to create a harmonious and welcoming environment: Van Duysen’s Octave sofa and Walter armchairs, accompanied by Gio Ponti’s D. 555.1 coffee table and the majestic VVD kitchen which embraces Jasper Morrison’s Tea chairs.
